Worth knowing

That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.

Air Duct Cleaning Before & After in Torrance, CA

We can tell you our equipment is professional grade and our techs are thorough, but you’ve probably heard that from every company in the South Bay. What actually proves the point is seeing what came out of a duct system and what it looked like when we finished. Every job Cardinal Air Duct Torrance completes gets before-and-after photo documentation as part of The Relay Standard, so you can see the work for yourself, not just take our word for it. Omar Haddad, Owner, makes sure every photo is shared with the customer before we leave the driveway.

Whole-Home Air Duct Cleaning in a 1970s Torrance Pointe Home

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Supply vent before cleaning (left) and after Rotobrush cleaning with Nikro HEPA extraction (right). Torrance Pointe, 1970s single-story.

This Torrance Pointe home had its original 1973 ductwork and the registers were caked with a gray, almost felt-like layer of dust. We ran the Rotobrush rotary brush system through every supply and return line in the house, pulling the loosened debris straight into the Nikro HEPA-rated vacuum rather than letting it drift back into the living room. The after photos showed bare galvanized metal inside the boots for the first time in decades, and the homeowner mentioned the stale smell was gone within a day.

Dryer Vent Cleaning After a Lint Blockage in a Southwood Duplex

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Dryer vent interior at a Southwood duplex: packed lint before, clear 4-inch duct after Rotobrush and HEPA extraction.

The tenant in this Southwood duplex told us the dryer had been taking two full cycles to dry a single load. We pulled the dryer away from the wall and found the transition duct and a long section of the rigid pipe packed with compacted lint, the kind of buildup that gets hot and becomes a fire hazard. Our tech cleared the entire line from the dryer connection to the exterior termination, then ran the Nikro vacuum at the exit point to capture every bit of the loose debris instead of blowing it into the side yard.

Return Duct Restoration with Visible Debris in a North Torrance Split-Level

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Return air plenum under a North Torrance split-level: drywall chunks and sawdust before, clean interior after cleaning.

This North Torrance split-level had a recent bathroom remodel, and the contractor never sealed the return registers during the drywall work. The result was a return plenum carrying chunks of drywall dust and small debris down into the air handler. We set up an Abatement Technologies containment barrier around the work area, cleaned the entire return side of the system, and replaced the filter with a fresh Honeywell media filter to catch anything we might have loosened further along.

HVAC System Cleaning on an Old Home in Southeast Torrance

Evaporator coil before cleaning at a Southeast Torrance bungalow: dust-caked fins preventing airflow, followed by cleaned coil and plenum.

The homeowner in this Southeast Torrance bungalow said the system would run constantly but the house never felt comfortable. We opened the evaporator coil access panel and found the fins so matted with dust and pet hair that air couldn’t move across them. Omar cleaned the coil with the Abatement Technologies containment setup around the air handler, cleaned the supply and return plenums, and left before-and-after photos showing a silver coil where a brown carpet of debris used to be.

Blown-In Insulation Cleanup from a Clogged Register in a Central Torrance Condo

Professional technician performing residential dryer vent cleaning from the roof
Central Torrance condo register: pink blown-in fiberglass insulation pulled from the duct before, clear interior after cleaning.

A pest control company had drilled into the attic of this Central Torrance condo and knocked loose insulation into the branch line serving the living room. The register was spitting out tiny pink fibers, which the owner noticed on the coffee table. We removed the register, pulled the visible insulation by hand with gloves, then ran the Rotobrush through the full branch line with the Nikro extracting continuously. The after photos showed a clean, smooth duct interior with no fiberglass visible anywhere in the line.

Oily Smoke Residue in a West Torrance Rental’s Supply Lines

Technician performing professional dryer vent cleaning on a residential roof.
Interior of a West Torrance supply duct: dark oily smoke residue before, bright galvanized metal after agitation and HEPA extraction.

The landlord of this West Torrance rental called us after a previous tenant left behind a heavy cooking smoke smell in the unit. The supply ducts were coated in a thin, sticky residue that normal vacuuming wouldn’t budge. We used the Rotobrush system to agitate the interior surface while the Nikro pulled the loosened particulates out under negative pressure, meaning the dirty air went into our vacuum, not back into the unit. The difference in the duct photos was night and day.
