Sanitizing & deodorizingWhole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents
That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Meet the Torrance Team Behind Cardinal Air Duct Torrance
We’re the crew that shows up when your vents start wheezing dust every time the AC kicks on. Four technicians, all Torrance-based, all background-checked, all in uniform with a name you’ll know before we knock. Between us we’ve pulled drywall screws, Hot Wheels, a seventeen-foot python shed, and roughly four hundred pounds of beach sand out of local ductwork. We’re part of the Relay Home Co. family, founded 2005, and every one of us trains on the same equipment: Rotobrush rotary brush systems, Nikro HEPA-rated negative-pressure extraction units, and Abatement Technologies containment. Different personalities, same standard.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Omar Haddad, Owner & Lead Technician
Omar started cleaning ducts in 2009 after a stint in apartment maintenance convinced him that most people have never seen the inside of their own air system. He’s the one who walked into a Redondo Beach condo, popped a return register, and found a full box of crayons melted across the plenum. That’s the job. Omar handles the complex diagnostics: airflow testing, pressure differential readings, and the homes where a renovation contractor “forgot” to cover the vents. He’s certified in HVAC cleaning through NADCA standards and runs every Torrance job through the 365-Day Done Right Promise personally. Off the clock, he’s at the Torrance Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, usually arguing about which stall has the better stone fruit.
Luis R., Senior Installer
Luis has been with the team since 2016 and handles the heavy mechanical work: furnace blower housing removal, coil cleaning, and dryer vent reroutes through attics that were never meant to hold a human being. He’s the guy who can tell you within two minutes whether a vent run was done by a pro or a house flipper. His specialty is the Abatement Technologies containment setup, which means he sets up the negative-air barriers that keep dislodged debris from drifting back into your living room. Luis is also our unofficial Torrance geography expert. If your street floods in a particular pattern every February or your attic runs fifteen degrees hotter than your neighbor’s, Luis already knows it. Human detail: he once found a wedding ring in a dryer vent on Anza Avenue and returned it to the homeowner, who’d lost it four years earlier and blamed the washing machine the whole time.
Dana K., Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone, the one answering at 3:00 PM on a Tuesday and 3:00 AM on a Thursday. A live person, every time, no voicemail loop. She’s been with Cardinal Air Duct Torrance since 2019 and built the booking flow around the Relay Standard: a live trackable arrival window, before-and-after photo documentation, and a digital invoice payable from a link. Before this she worked in logistics at the Port of Los Angeles, which is what makes her so calmly efficient when someone needs a same-week appointment before family flies in for Thanksgiving. Dana’s human detail: she keeps a running spreadsheet of the strangest objects we pull from vents, complete with date, neighborhood, and item description. The python shed is currently ranked number one.
Marcus T., Apprentice Technician
Marcus joined in 2023 after completing a six-month HVAC fundamentals program at Harbor College. He’s doing his first full season on the truck, learning the difference between a boost fan and a balancing damper, and getting very good at holding the flashlight in exactly the wrong place. Marcus is part of our background-checked, uniformed staffing standard, and he’s already passed his first NADCA-level inspection assessment. He’s the one who photographs the before-and-after work for your digital invoice. Human detail: Marcus grew up off Crenshaw near Wilson Park, and he’ll nod respectfully when you tell him the traffic on Sepulveda has gotten worse since he was a kid, because it has.
One Standard, Every Job
Every member of this Torrance crew, from the owner walking your attic to the apprentice labeling your filter, works under the same two rules. First, the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If the work isn’t right within 365 days, we return and correct it at no charge. That covers every cleaning, every vent job, every appointment without exception, and it’s the longest-standing satisfaction window in the trade. Second, written pricing before any work starts, handed to you before a single register is pulled, and it does not change at the door. These aren’t marketing lines. They’re the reason we run Rotobrush and Nikro equipment instead of cutting corners with a truck-mounted shortcut, and why we’d rather explain what a plenum is than leave you guessing. The names change from one Cardinal location to the next across the Relay Home Co. network, but this part doesn’t.
